Donations allow us to get children in the community into their sport or dance class by paying for registration fees, equipment, uniforms, and other associated costs in either full or partial scholarships, depending on need.
Fall 2026 Applications can be submitted between June 1, 2026 and July 31, 2026.
Families and communities who lack sufficient resources to pay for youth sports and dance registration fees, equipment, uniforms, and other associated costs benefit from our financial assistance program. We are currently focused on youth athletes and dancers in the Fort Bend County, Katy, Sugar Land, and Fulshear area.
To apply for a scholarship, please visit our "Scholorship" page and complete the application. The Maddyn's Mission Scholarship committee will review your application and contact you with any further questions or requests for supporting documents if you application qualifies and is being considered.
Scholarships are intended for familiies who may not qualify for traditional assistance programs but would still experience financial hardship participating in youth sports. All applications are evaluated based on financial need, demonstrated hardship, child's character and attitude, parent communitment and communication, community or mentor recommendation, overall impact of the scholarship to that child's life.
The organization reserves the right to:
• Approve or deny applications at its discretion
• Request supporting documentation when necessary
• Adjust scholarship amounts based on funding availability
• Revoke assistance in cases of fraudulent information or misuse of funds
Maddyn’s Mission is committed to operating its scholarship program fairly, compassionately, and in alignment with its mission to expand opportunities for children through sports.
Once approved for a scholarship, Maddyn's Mission will pay registration and associated fees directly to the sports or dance organization. For partial scholarships, we will work with both the league and participant to ensure payment of all registration fees are paid in full by both parties. You will be required to complete a mid-season and post-season survey and submit to Maddyn's Mission so we can learn about your athlete’s experience. We will work closely with the organization throughout the season to monitor the participants overall experience, attendance, behavior, and growth.
