Join Our Volunteer Team

Our volunteers help make the 2nd Annual Maddyn’s Mission Chili Cook-Off possible! From welcoming our first cooking teams to packing up after the last guest leaves, every helping hand makes the day run more smoothly. Join us in creating a fun, welcoming event while honoring Maddyn and helping raise money for scholarships for kids.

There are plenty of ways to help:

• Setup and breakdown: Help prepare the event site, arrange tables and supplies, and pack everything up afterward.
• Cooking team support: Check in teams, help them find their spaces, and assist with supplies and questions throughout the event.
• Guest check-in and admission: Welcome guests, check tickets, distribute wristbands, and take admission payments.
• Maddyn’s Meadow: Help supervise the kids’ area, monitor activities, and keep things organized.
• Silent auction: Monitor the auction tent, assist guests with questions and bidding, and help keep auction items organized.
• Merchandise sales: Manage the Maddyn’s Mission merchandise table, help guests select items, and process purchases.
• Pool tournament: Assist with registration and collect entry payments.
• Photo booth: Help guests use the booth and keep the area welcoming and ready for the next group.
• Site cleanup: Keep tables and common areas tidy, empty trash, and help maintain a clean event site throughout the day.

Whether you enjoy greeting people, organizing details, helping with activities, or working behind the scenes, there’s a meaningful way to get involved. Your time and energy help us bring our community together and make this fundraiser a success.

Need volunteer hours for high school? We’d love to have you join us! The Chili Cook-Off is a meaningful way to serve your community while working toward your school’s volunteer-hour requirements. Please check with your school to confirm eligibility, and let us know when you sign up if you need your hours documented or a school form signed.
